We’re two sisters from Richmond, Virginia who believe a drink should be as fun to sip as it is kind to your body. Inspired by our passion for clean, feel-good flavors that prove you don’t need alcohol to bring the party—and our lifelong love for dogs—we built a brand that celebrates both. 

At Lone Mutt, our mission is clean and simple, just like our ingredients: help as many dogs as possible. But we’re not stopping there. We believe it’s time to transform the way people think about drinking — to prove that what’s in your glass can be bold, fun, and refreshing without the alcohol. We’re here to bring out the laughs, connection and compassion through every can.

    Nally’s story is where Lone Mutt began. Alex rescued her best friend ten years ago and this duo has been inseparable ever since. Before she met her mom, Nala spent years in a crate that left her with “happy tail” syndrome. Her happy tail eventually healed, but that tail hasn’t stopped wagging.

    At 15 years young, her life has been full of middle of the bed cuddles, endless kisses and countless bark at the sun moments. She’s proof that rescue dogs have endless love to give. Her love and resilience inspire everything we do—to make sure every dog gets the same chance at a second beginning.

    It’s hard not to fall in love with those sweet eyes—the ones that lit up at the sight of a tennis ball or the chance to dive into the pool. Yet even in between those high-energy moments, he loved nothing more than curling up on the couch in his favorite spots for a snuggle. He was the one who taught Lauren how to be a dog mom, whose loyalty and love for life were unmatched.

    As he bravely faced his battle with a mast cell tumor, Baby Duke showed us how love, hope, and compassionate care can keep the spirit alive. Even on the hardest days, he’d still ride with his nose out the window and ears in the wind—living every moment to the fullest. His journey inspired our passion to ensure that every dog receives the compassionate, high-quality medical care they deserve to live out their days happy, healthy, and loved.
